The Website Mission

The Lady Moon website is available for all Larimer County crafters, producers, artisans to list their own items. Items listed for purchase may be items we carry in our shop (purchased wholesale), or items reserved at the artisan’s worksite, in order to keep shop storage and wholesale costs at a minimum. When customers place an order, we pick up the item from our local crafter and pay them immediately. This reduces billing costs, paperwork and makes sure that artisans don’t wait to be paid. We do add a product charge to each item over what the artisan charges. This serves two purposes: 1. Our delivery isn’t competing with their own sales, and 2. To cover our own costs of picking up extra items. That way we can still keep our delivery charges affordable for the mountain communities.

If you would like to list your products on our site, there are some things to keep in mind.

  • Foods and Perishable Items are only accepted if they meet State Licensing Requirements (Cottage Foods Certification, Retail Foods Certification, etc – we can help you figure out how to get those.
  • Artisans/producers are responsible for their own inventory management. We can set lead times of as many days notice as necessary so that we can meet orders as needed (for instance, baked goods, or charcuterie trays). For artwork, and unique items, we ask that you list items exclusively on the site. If a customer purchases that item, we need to keep our promise to fill the order.
  • Items listed should be suitable for gift delivery (no larger than 30″ X 30″), and labeled/wrapped appropriately.
  • Producers are responsible for their own tax obligations. We purchase items as a reseller, meaning there is no sales tax – that is passed on to the end customer by law.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to list items for any reason (hard to imagine, but it could happen).
